Workcamp started

The days always start at 7:30 with breakfast and at 8:30 we all meet for the morning circle.
During the first week we sang a song in the mornig circle which comes from South Africa, back from the time of the Apartheid. After the song we always play a different warm up game and then divide the volunteers into the different working areas.

While one group was mixing sand, cement and stones another group was using this mixture to make the floors of the volunteers house. For the mixture of the floor you first have to mix everything, it´s a huge amount; 1 bag of cement, 4 barrows of sand, and 3 barrows of stones. After it is mixed well, and that is quite hard work ;-)..you put water on it and mix it all to a huge "dough".

A group also worked on the land next to Aramitan. The idea is to one day have an ambulatorio there, but until all that is possible it is empty and all kinds of plants are growing...so we were busy cutting and mowing...and also had some ideas of creating some kind of playground for the time the land has no other use. Some of the children of the neighbourhood also came to help- nice to work all together!! At night we also had Capoeira class, it was really cool! And after that we all met and had a meeting, getting to know everyone and Tati spoke a bit about the history of Aramitan and some of the rules here.

Foi legal!! Eu gosto muito de participar e fazer parte nesse projeto!!!.
